A former Clonmany boxer
has achieved a perfect opener in the professional
ranks.
Light welter weight Daniel Mulhern made it two wins
from two in his paid ranks with a 40-36 four round
victory over Latvian Olafs Sirmanis at York Hall,
Bethnal Green, on Sunday.
Mulhern looked in control from the start with a
large Donegal and Irish following in the audience.
In the third round, Mulhern grew in stature and he
found two left hooks to follow a straight right that
momentarily troubled Sirmanis. |
