Peninsula gets respite from
rain
05.10.07
INISHOWEN got some
respite from the rain yesterday with the welcome
arrival of an Indian Summer's day.
As temperatures hit a balmy 20 degrees in some
sheltered spots, people made the most of the
sunshine and headed for the beaches, parks and golf
courses. |
 |
The seasonal blip is
expected to last the weekend albeit it with the
prospect of a little drizzle. But it will remain
very mild with values falling no lower that 10 to 12
degrees. The odd light shower is expected in the
North West today, but otherwise it will be dry and
mild with temperatures ranging between 16 and 18
degrees. According to Met |
Eireann, Saturday will
be mostly cloudy at first with patches of mist, fog
and drizzle. Some nice bright sunny spells will also
develop and forecasters predict a similar pattern
for Sunday. Again it will be very mild for the time
of year with temperatures ranging between 15 to 18
degrees in light southeast breezes.
Meanwhile, Monday will be mild and humid with heavy
rain clouds gathering. |
