Killea people can
vote in plusher surroundings on May 24th, as polling
moves to a new community centre.
Cllr. Francis Conaghan, campaign director for
Donegal North East candidate, Cecilia Keaveney said:
"I want to ensure that all the residents of the
Killea area who are registered to vote are aware
that they will be casting their vote
in the new Killea Community Centre rather than the
old parish hall which
was used in previous elections.
"This is much more suitable for voters as there is
adequate parking, ease of access and generally much
more pleasant conditions.
"This is as important for those who will be manning
the booths for the duration of polling day as it is
for voters themselves."
Cllr. Conaghan said he was looking forward to seeing
new facility used on election day.
"Much work and investment has gone into getting this
up and running so we are keen to showcase it as many
people will not have been in it before polling day",
added Conaghan.
