Swilly ferry sets sail again

The summer ferry from
Buncrana to Rathmullan resumes sailing today for the
duration of the season.
Daily departures will leave from Buncrana Pier every
hour and twenty minutes starting from 9am. The last
sailing from Buncrana Pier will be at 7.40pm.
The ferry also leaves Rathmullan Pier every hour and
twenty minutes, starting from 9.40am with the last
departure from Rathmullan at 8.10pm.
The fare for cars is €15, one-way or €24 return. The
cost for adult foot passenger is €3.50 one way or
€5.50 return. Children and senior citizens are €2.50
single or €4 return.
The ferry will continue its sailings until September
9th, 2007, however, it is awaiting discussions with
Donegal County Council to extend this until the end
of September to facilitate the main Flight of the
Earls 400th anniversary celebrations in Rathmullan.
