Clipper chops towards Greencastle 28.06.12
THE Clipper yachts are
chopping through the Atlantic waves with leaders
currently only hours away from the finish line at
Greencastle.
Excitement is continuing to grow in Inishowen and
Derry ahead of the Clipper fleet’s arrival. The Gold
Coast Australia yacht is expected to be the first to
arrive in the early hours after completing race 13
from Halifax, Nova Scotia. A packed programme of
events are being planned in Greencastle and the
Maiden City for the round the world yacht race's
much-anticipated arrival. All ten yachts will arrive
from tomorrow (Friday) until late Monday afternoon. |
