INISHOWEN people and
groups are being invited to get in touch with RTE
Morning Ireland's roving reporter Cian McCormack
when he gets on his bike for an upcoming new slot.
Cian and the flagship news programme are travelling
the country’s high roads and byroads to bring
interesting and unheard stories and voices to the
station’s listeners.
The ‘Ireland by bike’ series "will hear the tales of
real people during the summer as reporter Cian
travels on his bike for two weeks in July stopping
in towns, villages and communities from Cork to
Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way". |

The item will gauge
tourism, economic recovery and the west coast’s
post-storm clean-up, among other issues.
Cian will travel alone on his bike to make daily
reports on Morning Ireland from Monday July 7 to
Friday, July 18.
“If the cycling goes well – without any punctures or
without major breakdowns - I’ll certainly arrive to
Donegal sometime on Sunday, July 13. I’ll probably
spend the days following that making my way to Malin
Head on the following Friday,” said Cian.
“I’m hoping to hear stories from Donegal people as I
travel parts of the Wild Atlantic Way. We’d like to
hear from people who’ve set up new businesses in
county Donegal or from people who’ve turned things
around,” he added.

community triumphs such as successful festivals or
