Daniel surprises Majella with 54
red roses

MAJELLA O'Donnell
received a happy surprise when romantic hubby Daniel
sent her 54 red roses to mark her 54th birthday. |
Majella, who underwent
a double mastectomy for breast cancer two months
ago, celebrated her birthday in Tenerife earlier
this week with messages from well wishers all over
the world.
But she was particularly thrilled with her husband's
thoughtful gift.
"Thank you to my wonderful husband...54 red roses
for 54 years. I'm such a lucky girl," she beamed,
tweeting a picture of the huge bouquet.
The couple were reunited in Tenerife on Tuesday when
the Donegal singer (53) finished his latest UK tour.
They will now spend a relaxing break at their
holiday villa before Daniel returns for another run
of UK shows on May 6.
The Kincasslagh man told fans he was looking forward
to the short break after a busy couple of months'
touring the southern hemisphere and the UK. |

He said Majella was
"doing very well" after her surgery in February and
the two are now looking forward to spending some
quality time together over the next three weeks. "We
are really looking forward to the break," he said. |
