Donegal trainees STEP out for
graduation

NINE Donegal trainees
are celebrating their graduation with Level 4
Employment Skills as part of the YMCA's STEP
programme.
The trainees notched up fantastic grades with five
distinctions, three merits and one pass expected
following external assessment.
National STEP co-ordinator Tom Kent joined the
graduates, their family and friends and staff on
conferring day held at Letterkenny's Enterprise Fund
Business Centre. |

YMCA’s Support,
Training and Enterprise Programme (STEP) is
currently recruiting for the September 2015 to July
2016 enrolment.
Participants receive training, transport and meal
allowances during the 47-week course.
Modules include communications, work experience,
career planning, computer applications functional
maths and understanding interculturalism. Two
three-week work placements are also part of the
scheme.
