Lucky Laura wins €30,000

NEWTOWN student Laura
Dowds is €30,000 better off this week after
appearing on Saturday's Winning Streak game show on
RTE.
Laura (22), who studies mental health nursing at
LYIT, bought her winning scratchcard after being
inspired by friend and neighbour Natasha Hamilton
who was on the show three weeks ago.
And it was first time lucky for Laura as it was the
only time she had ever sent off a Winning Streak
scratchcard.
Laura is celebrating her win this week with her
older brother Mark, parents Ann Marie and Ivor and
boyfriend Marty, a veterinary assistant. |
