Make your business greener 27.10.16

DONEGAL businesses are being encouraged to attend a free seminar next month to help make them make savings by preventing waste.
The Green Business seminar will focus on efficiency and cost savings for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) through water and energy reduction and reducing other wasteful practices.
The half-day seminar is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the National Waste Prevention Programme.
Research shows that Irish SMEs could make potential savings of up to €35,000 at little or no cost to the business, just by making some practical changes.
Donegal County Council waste awareness officer Suzanne Bogan said: "The workshops will give you access to experts in several fields, who can provide specific advice and assistance to you and your business."
Green Business has teamed up with IBEC and Bord Iascaigh Mhara for the seminar with speakers including James Hogan of Green Business and Raoul Empey from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI).
The event will take place at the Enterprise Fund Business Centre, Ballyraine, Letterkenny, on Thursday, November 10 from 9.30am to 1pm. To book email contactus@greenbusiness.ie .
