“Summer Stars is a wonderful initiative that encourages
children across Donegal to discover the joy of reading
while taking part in creative and engaging activities in
their local libraries. It is fantastic to see such a
diverse programme of free events on offer again this
year, providing opportunities for children and families
to connect, learn and have fun together.”
The programme promises a diverse range of activities
that appeal to various interests. With activities like
Circus skills, Lego challenges, painting and craft
classes, scavenger hunts, Author readings, and
friendship bracelet making, the Summer Stars Programme
truly makes sure that there is something for everyone
this summer.
Each participant will receive incentives when they sign
up for Summer Stars, with further rewards available as
they progress through their reading journey.
Visit your nearest library branch to register your
children in the comprehensive schedule of events. It is
an opportunity for them to meet new friends, learn
something new and be in with the chance to win prizes as
they do so.
