Heartbreak for Donegal 10.06.10

THE Donegal County Darts Team were well on target but narrowly missed out during the recent All-Ireland seven-a-side tournament in City West, Dublin.
Donegal started the tournament in a round robin group of four with their first match seeing them face Tipperary whom they comfortably beat 7-0.
The local lads followed that with another 7-0 victory against Galway. Their final group game saw them narrowly beat Wexford 4-3 to top the group and progress to the last 16.

Here, they were paired with Wicklow who were no match as Donegal ran out winners by 4-0 and reached the quarter final to face North Down.
Following a very high-scoring match, it was missed doubles that cost Donegal dearly and they lost by 4-0.
