Milkman scoops €34,000 24.08.10

GREENCASTLE eyes were on milkman John McDermott at the weekend when he appeared on the Big Money game and scooped prizes worth €34,000.
Laid back John, from Battery Brae, looked as cool as a cucumber despite being the first up on the TV game show on Saturday evening.
There were plenty of cheers in the studio audience for the 43-year old while many more rooted for him at home and in the pub including his local, the Sean Ti in Drumaweir.

His prize also included a holiday to Dubrovnik in Croatia. His winning ticket was bought in Farren's in Moville. The shop has been seeing a big boost in scratchcard sales after selling two winners in a fortnight.
