Concern grows for missing man 11.04.08

POLICE in Derry and the family of missing 42 year old James Rafferty are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Derry man James Rafferty who has been missing since April 5, 2008. Mr. Rafferty was last seen at around 10am on Saturday morning, April 5, in the area of St. Brigid’s Church in the city.
He is described as being around 6’2 tall of stocky build with light brown short, receding hair.
When last seen he was wearing a green coloured waterproof coat over a fawn coloured shirt and navy woollen jumper and navy coloured trousers. It is understood he also wears glasses and has two front teeth missing.
Mr Rafferty is also thought to be driving his vehicle, a blue Citroen Berlingo Multi space bearing the registration number DNZ 7976.
Anyone who thinks they have seen Mr. Rafferty or his vehicle or indeed knows of his whereabouts, is asked to contact police at Strand Road.
