Calling all budding radio stars 13.07.07

Inishowen Community Radio (ICRfm) is looking for people to take part in a new project to create their own radio programmes.
Sound and Vision is a grant scheme designed to support the production of new television and radio programmes in the areas of Irish culture, heritage and adult literacy.
The next round of applications opens in August and ICRfm is hopeful it will be as successful as it has been in previous rounds.
A meeting will take place at the ICRfm offices at Pound Street Business Park, Carndonagh, on Tuesday, July 24th, 2007, at 7pm.
"We urge all those interested to come along, especially those with new programme ideas, and hear how they can get involved - and get a few bob too," said station deputy manager, Emma McDermott.
"Inishowen Community Radio is here to give a voice to the local community and the Sound and Vision fund is an excellent avenue for people to get their ideas out there." No previous experience is necessary. If you can't make the meeting simply call into the station and have a chat with Emma. You can also phone her on 9329105.
